Must Have

  • Handle day-to-day transactions
  • Reconcile receivable data and update tenant records
  • Process payment receipts and charges timely and accurately
  • Open, sort, and distribute daily mail
  • Process rent checks
  • Review and post electronic payments
  • Review tenant's accounts and confirm payment applications
  • Research and resolve accounts payment discrepancies
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams
  • Maintain communication with bank personnel regarding deposits
  • Review documentation for new leases
  • 2+ years in real estate or related field with solid Accounts Receivable experience
  • Familiarity with accounting concepts and best business practices in AR
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management and ability to multitask
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Work with a terrific leader and handle the day-to-day transactions
  • Reconcile receivable data and promptly update the tenant records
  • Assist in ensuring that payment receipts and charges are processed timely and accurately
  • Open, sort, and distribute daily mail
  • Process rent checks
  • Review and post electronic payments
  • Review tenant's accounts, confirm payment applications, and ensure records are applied appropriately
  • Research and resolves accounts payment discrepancies
  • Work collaboratively with the internal teams
  • Maintain communication with bank personnel regarding deposits, as needed
  • Review documentation for new leases

Requirements:

  • 2 or more years in real estate or related field with solid Accounts Receivable experience
  • Demonstrates familiarity with accounting concepts and best business practices in an accounts receivable environment
  • Detail-oriented - strong analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management and ability to multitask
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • MRI experience is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
